Full moon sheaves are designed to be used in conjunction with Sivam spooling units. Spooling units designed to ensure cables or control lines are kept in tension while running in or out of hole. Our spooling units are fully designed, manufactured and assembled with sheaves (half or full moon) to guide control, injection, or mono-conductor cable preventing damage while being tripped in hole. Units are available in pneumatic, hydraulic, or electric drive and are ATEX zone and DNV certified as required by location. Spooling units can also be equipped with a filling pump to monitor pressure while tripping – improving efficiency as a sudden pressure drop indicates line damage.

The FRN wireline-retrievable flapper valve, which is normally closed, is held open by hydraulic control pressure from the surface. The valve operates on a hydraulic-piston principle. To open, tubing pressure slightly higher than the well pressure below the closed flapper is applied. Once well pressure is equalized across the closed flapper, hydraulic pressure is applied to the piston, which pushes the flapper open. This metal-to-metal (MTM) interface is designed to prevent flow from passing between the valve housing and opening prong. This design creates an MTM interface with the full force exerted by the hydraulic piston, minus the spring compression force, holding the two metal faces in contact. Multifunctional, with intelligent power management The MultiPlus is a powerful true sine wave inverter, a sophisticated battery charger that features adaptive charge technology, and a high-speed AC transfer switch in a single compact enclosure. The MultiPlus takes over the supply to the connected loads in the event of a grid failure or when shore-/generator power is disconnected. Split phase options Two units can be stacked to provide 120-0-120 V, and additional units can be paralleled up to a total of 6 units per phase, to supply up to 30 kW / 36 kVA of split phase power. It will therefore draw a lot of current from the generator or shore side supply (nearly 20 A per 3 kVA MultiPlus at 120 VAC). With the Multi Control Panel a maximum generator or shore current can be set. The MultiPlus will then take account of other AC loads and use whatever is extra for charging, thus preventing the generator or shore supply from being overloaded. PowerAssist - Boosting the capacity of shore or generator power This feature takes the principle of PowerControl to a further dimension. It allows the MultiPlus to supplement the capacity of the alternative source. Where peak power is so often required only for a limited period, the MultiPlus will make sure that insufficient shore or generator power is immediately compensated for by power from the battery. When the load reduces, the spare power is used to recharge the battery. Four stage adaptive charger and dual bank battery charging The main output provides a powerful charge to the battery system by means of advanced ‘adaptive charge’ software. The software fine-tunes the three stage automatic process to suit the condition of the battery, and adds a fourth stage for long periods of float charging.
